Norton Canes Boatbuilders is a direct descendant of M E Braine, who were involved in restoring and repairing working boats and were regarded as the aristocrat of narrowboat builders in the `70s and `80s with the tradition then carried on by Graham Edgson. Kerf has to be described as in need of some TLC, if you are handy with a paintbrush, the exterior could once again be brought back to life. The Boatman s cabin could have a range installed and needs cushions for the side and cross beds. The engine room has scope for addition of cupboards and other storage, but it is not all doom and gloom as this work could be carried out as time allowed. Fitted with a Lister LPWS4 diesel engine and a Nobel bow thruster. Built in 2000. Selling to move ashore.
