ARTFUL BODGER

Its fair to say that the Artful Bodger has gone through a few changes in her life, she left the Colecraft yard at 54 feet and as a pretty standard cruiser style boat, but in 2013 she went through some radical changes. Andicraft lengthened her to 67 feet with a tug deck and mock cargo hold added, she now certainly stands out from the crowd. The Artful Bodger may not have all the latest bells and whistles found on the majority of todays narrowboats, but is probably all the better for it, they say less is more. A large wood burning stove heats 2 radiators and a large bore pipe system by gravity, so no noisy pump or drain on the batteries. The rustic style fitout utilises a considerable amount of reclaimed material all in a chunky style. Hull survey dated 2018 available to read.
