Trad canal boat PRESQUE LA

FEATURE BOAT -PRESQUE LA56ft 11in Stoke-on-Trent Boatbuilding trad. Perkins M50 diesel. Bow thruster. For a craft built in the 1990’s, one concern can be the condition of the hull, but with Presque La this has been taken care of. Using a technique found in other industries, the hull has been professionally coated in zinc, to the sides and bottom, that, in effect, makes one big anode. The suppliers are so confident of the coating that it carries a 10 year warranty, minimising the need for regular blackings (as the blacking is merely cosmetic). This is not the only innovation on this boat as she can be driven and manoeuvred (engine, steering & bow thruster) from one of three locations. 4 berths: permanent double, Pullman dinette double; bath with shower, pump-out wc; compact diesel central heating, solid fuel stove; gas cooking, microwave, 24V fridge, 12V freezer, washer; 1.6kW inverter, 3kW generator. 1991.
