Built in 2022 by Ovation Boats on a shell from Soar Valley Boats, Moonwater is a beautifully appointed narrowboat that blends modern style with practical design. Fitted out in stylish oak ply with cream sprayed boarding, she offers a light and contemporary interior that is both welcoming and easy to maintain. Designed in a traditional layout, the saloon is forward, while the bedroom is positioned at the aft. A Pulman dinette converts to an additional berth. The well-equipped galley features oak block worktops, an eye-level oven and grill, microwave, separate gas hob, and under-counter fridge. The shower room includes a cubicle shower, washbasin, and a macerator toilet. Powered by a Canaline 38hp diesel engine with a PRM 150 hydraulic gearbox, Moonwater offers quiet cruising enhanced by a hospital-type silencer and soundproofed engine compartment. A Vetus 12V bow thruster ensures easy handling and precise manoeuvring. Off-grid power is handled by a 3kW inverter/charger with four solar panels trickle charging the cabin batteries. Cabin heating is supplied by an Eberspacher diesel boiler, feeding designer radiators and a towel rail in the shower room.
