Freya was originally fitted out by Severn Valley Boat Centre, but has since had alterations made by the owner. This has left scope for her new owners to make changes to suit their lifestyle. The aft bed can be described as a cosy double, but it may be possible to increase the width with the addition of a pull-out extension. The large open plan saloon provides plenty of room for either fitted or loose furniture. Although the on board equipment may seem basic, everything necessary for just getting away and enjoying the canals and rivers is installed. 230V power is supplied by a landline connection for when you are on your own mooring, or there are two choices for when you are cruising, either the pure sine wave inverter or the 3.5kW engine driven generator. Heating is provided by a Hurricane diesel boiler to the radiators and toe toasting warmth is ensured by the solid fuel stove. It must be said that the external appearance could be greatly improved with a lick of paint. So to sum up, if you are looking for a residential or long term cruising boat, which you can stamp your own identity on, than your search could be over.
