This brochure or the pictures do not do this boat justice. It must be viewed to appreciate the fine detail and all that she has to offer. If you would like to own a slice of history then Aber could prove ideal as she is the first of the town class Large Woolwich boats built by Harland and Wolff in 1936, for the Grand Union Canal Company. She was converted to what you see today in 2011. There are too many features of this boat to mention, but here are just a few. The in-built generator will fire up if a load is applied or the battery bank drops below a certain level, pressing any two light switches simultaneously will turn off all lighting throughout the boat, underfloor cool space accessed in the galley, 230V waste disposal unit, automatic shower extract pump, and there are no less than four ways of heating the domestic hot water. On this GAS FREE boat, cooking is by induction hob and combination microwave oven and grill. The Boatmans cabin houses a washing machine and freezer, but still maintains an authentic look.
