They say good things come in small packages and this is certainly the case with Mabel. Just think of all the pluses, being able to turn the boat without having to find a winding hole and ease of finding mooring spots in popular places, to name just two, and then there is the economical ownership costs. The cleverly designed interior certainly makes the best use of the available space with four berths, shower room with a convenient cassette toilet and obviously a washbasin. The cabin is kept cosy by the solid fuel stove which in a boat of this length should prove perfectly adequate. The present owners have enjoyed cruising aboard Mabel, but they are now purchasing a larger boat, so the time has come to pass her on to someone who can cherish and continue to get pleasure from her. She may not be packed to the gunwales with all the latest equipment but maybe all the better for it, as there is less to go wrong, a landline is installed but an inverter could be added, perfect to use 230V equipment when away from her home mooring. Useable space is increased by the folding pram cover over the cruiser deck which can be quickly lowered when required.
