Catkin is a well maintained and newly decorated boat built by the respected Darren Aldridge on a Colecraft shell. The well appointed internal fit out in ash features curved cupboards, scalloped shelves and granite worktops. The present owners have added additional bespoke features, including the Catkin themed glass work for the bow and shower room doors designed by Kathryn Webley. Catkin is perfect for two but can accommodate a further three guests. Catkin is spacious but does not lose that cosy feel having a solid fuel stove in the saloon as well as radiator heating throughout. She also benefits from newly installed double glazed windows. On board there is good storage as well as space for a washing machine to be installed if required. Ample power is provided through a Victron 3kw invertor charger when a landline connection is not possible. At 58 feet and powered by a smooth running Beta 43hp engine complimented with a hospital silencer and acoustic insulation makes for very quiet running. Together with a Vetus bow thruster, Catkin is more than suitable for exploring the entire connected canal and river system.
