How is it possible to fit so much into a 62ft narrowboat, first of all there is the versatile sleeping arrangements for up to six, a permanent extending double and two make up doubles. This GAS FREE boat has no less than four ways to provide 230V electricity, there is a large water cooled 11.2kW cocooned diesel generator, and when the engine is running, mains power is provided by a 3.5kW Travel Power. If peace and quiet is preferred, the Victron inverter charger comes into its own and of course there is the usual landline connection. The generator provides power to run the well equipped galley with its induction hob, eye level grill, oven and microwave. Central heating is by radiators fed from a sophisticated Hurricane diesel boiler which is adequately backed up by the diesel stove in the saloon, the latter of which is supplied by its own dedicated tank in the bows. When the time comes to leave your mooring, motive power is provided by the cocooned 43hp Beta engine via a hydraulic system which also powers the bow thruster. This is only scratching the surface of what Ardea has to offer, so an early viewing is recommended.
