If you have always dreamt of owning your own narrowboat, but spiralling prices have always got in the way, then Poppy might just be the boat you thought you would never obtain. Admittedly at this price you are not going to get all the bells, whistles and modern appliances that most boats these days come equipped with, but there is scope for you to make improvements. It would be easy to add a different seating arrangement in the aft cabin that offered a double berth. Lets think about what Poppy has to offer, three adults can sleep in comfort, there is a permanent single in the aft cabin and a make up double in the forward cabin. A solid fuel stove keeps the cabin cosy, perfect on those chilly evenings. Hot water is always available by the gas fired instantaneous water heater. The forward well deck has a fitted cratch cover with the aft cruiser deck protected by a tonneau when the boat is not in use. All in all a lovely simple boat ideal for first time owners or even an experienced single handed skipper. Poppy even comes with some spares as well as extras including tools and useful items.
