Stowe Hill Marine were considered one of the more reputable builders in their heyday. Renowned for their sumptuous interior hardwood panelling they could sometimes feel a little dark. Not so within Claire, as painted and light hardwood panels along with the headlining and much of the trim in light tulipwood and with the addition of three sets of side doors, give her a bright and airy feel throughout the cabin. The present owners purchased Claire in 2013 but they discovered that a little more space would be beneficial and in 2019 they commissioned Andicraft at Debdale Wharf to add 8ft to bring her to the current length. As you can imagine in a 67ft boat, and with only two permanent berths, with an occasional single bed available on the dinette, the cabins are all very spacious. She is well equipped for residential or cruising use, with a full size washer dryer, separate fridge and freezer, with ample power supplied by a 3.5kW engine driver generator which has capacity to spare for running any other small appliances. Exterior paintwork to the cabin sides is a little faded with areas of rust showing through the coach roof paint and around the aft side doors.
