You could be mistaken for thinking that this boat has been named after the junction of the Grand Union and Oxford Canals, where the Wigrams family, long standing employees of the GUCCC lived in the cottage for many years, but this is not the case. She is in fact named after the first owners much loved champion greyhound. Steve Hudson boats are always sought after on the second hand market and this is one of the first boats to be completed at Glascote Basin. Wigrams Turn features all of Hudsons recognisable detailing, such as the distinctive longer than normal Josher style bow, decorative rivets and cabin stern uplift, without the interior being a slave to tradition. A modern smooth running Beta engine discreetly fitted in the aft cabin maximises the useful accommodation space, allowing versatile sleeping arrangements, either two double or a double and two singles. Priced to reflect the poor external cabin paintwork.
