Andicraft is a company of considerable experience and excellent reputation. Principal Andy Thompson has produced over 400 shells and learnt his trade in the demanding environment of one of the canals pioneering narrowboat builders and operators. His shells are built with precision in a well equipped workshop. Old Birds Roost has been completed with no expense spared and this is your opportunity to purchase a relatively new boat, without having to join a waiting list. The interior is fitted out in light ash, oak and painted surfaces, creating a light but cosy cabin. Heating is provided by diesel fired central heating backed up by a trusty Squirrel solid fuel stove. How many narrowboats can manage to include an 11ft 6in galley. Well this boat does, with ample worktop space, the usual gas cooking facilities, a microwave, and to avoid unnecessary trips ashore, a full size domestic freezer along with a separate fridge. A full size washer dryer is housed in the walk through shower room, with a larger than normal quadrant shower, feature washbasin and pump out toilet. This is situated between the two bedrooms, both of which have double berths.
