The well proportioned shell was provided in 1995 by Gary Gorton, renowned for his quality of steelwork and high standard of finish. She was later registered in 1997 and fitted out by the 2nd owner, Dave Stack. Propulsion is by a fabulous sounding Kelvin J3 vintage diesel engine, originally fitted in a Scottish salmon tug and rebuilt 10yrs ago. Heating is currently by solid fuel stove (to be repaired prior to sale), although radiators and plumbing is in place for a boiler to be installed. It is fair to say that Sometime is in need of some TLC to bring her back to her former glory. She may not have all the latest bells and whistles found on the majority of today s narrowboats, but is probably all the better for it - they do say less is more!
