This stylish shell with recessed aft panels and hull side rivets is from Stuart Hodges who was noted for both his neat detailing and strong construction methods used. Fitted out by Ron Hunt using oak plywood in a floating cottage style, complete with Welsh dresser in the saloon. Central heating is by gas boiler to radiators with additional warmth from the solid fuel stove in the saloon, and a second stove in the Boatmans cabin you will certainly not be cold on this boat! A full width shower room houses a cassette toilet, along with the usual washbasin and shower cubicle and also a washing machine. On board power is provided by a 12V/24V system, with a 3kW pure sine wave inverter, and a landline is fitted for shore power when in a marina. The traditional Lister HA2 air-cooled engine has that authentic sound that turns heads. It sits nicely in the engine room next to the modern Boatmans cabin, where the make-up double berth is located. The exterior paintwork has reached the end of its lifespan and is in need of a full re-paint. This has been reflected in the price.
