Two well known, respected names of the canal industry come together in Frances Alberta, with a shell by Pro Build who are a popular choice of many private owners and boat builders alike, with a fit-out by Black Prince Holidays. Black Prince have always retired their hire boats at an early age and kept them well maintained. Frances Alberta underwent a partial re-fit, carried out by the previous owner to provide a modern galley with plumbing for a washing machine. Accommodation is for four with two doubles in separate cabins. The aft double will also split into two singles should you wish. This type of adaptable accommodation is often popular, especially for family and friends ownership, as they are suited to group holidays, or perhaps with those wishing to introduce grandchildren to boating, with the cruiser stern useful for training in steering! Central heating is via a compact diesel boiler, with the addition of a solid fuel stove to provide extra warmth. 230V power is provided by a landline connection, or the 2.5kW inverter charger, with 500W of solar power on the roof trickle charging the batteries. Blacked in September 2023 she is ready for new adventures.
