Guv nor is a traditionlist s dream, built to last with pride and precision. Her sleek Josher lines were crafted by Graham Edgson (Norton Canes Boat Builders) and includes a 12mm baseplate. Traditional decoration is by Phil Speight and the back cabin is particularly exquisite. The fit out throughout is hand-crafted in American oak offering a quality finish. The cosy saloon features two leather chairs with footstools, and the galley is fitted with durable Corian worktops and sink, gas cooking, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. A walk-through shower room includes a quadrant shower, pump out wc and washbasin. Heating is provided by Eberspacher diesel boiler, a solid fuel stove in the saloon, and a range in the back cabin. Power comes from a Victron 3kW inverter/charger and a 4kW engine driven generator. At her heart is the much admired Gardner 2L2 diesel engine, restored and maintained by Paul and Tony Redshaw and originally used to power a search light during WWII. Guv'nor is a fine example of quality boatbuilding, blending character, comfort and traditional craftsmanship in one striking package.
