Combining the precise steelwork of Barry Hawkins with a high quality fit-out to a professional standard by her late owner, Firefly is a stunning example of a replica Northwich Trader. A traditional Boatmans cabin provides a versatile space, serving as a sleeping area, dining space or workspace. The main talking point has to be the majestic Gardner 3LW diesel engine which sits in its own cabin and produces that mellow exhaust note that many boat owners can only dream of. Moving forwards, a walk-through shower room includes a cassette toilet and a washbasin. The galley features gas cooking, an under counter fridge and a breakfast bar, whilst the saloon is empty, ready for freestanding furniture of your own choice. Under the triangular steel cabin at the fore is the permanent double berth and a useful compartment houses a compact washing machine and a second washbasin. Heating is by diesel stove with back boiler, with large diameter piping to radiators and a towel rail, complemented by a solid fuel stove in the saloon. Hot water is heated by the engine and back boiler, while 230V onboard power is provided by a Sterling 2.5kW inverter/80A charger.
