This semi-traditional narrowboat was built in 2006 by Louis and Joshua Boat Builders of Doncaster and is constructed on a Tyler Wilson shell. The layout is arranged to support extended cruising or residential use, with onboard systems suitable for independent living afloat. 230V power is provided by a 2.5kW Victron pure sine wave inverter, supplying domestic appliances, including the installed washing machine, when shore power is not available. Plenty of internal storage is provided throughout the cabin, and the permanent cross-bed double berth allows for daytime access through the boat when configured accordingly. The dinette and galley side doors are fitted with sliding aluminium windows, offering ventilation while maintaining weather protection. The aft cabin includes a compact desk and seating area which has multiple uses. Heating is provided by a Bubble solid fuel stove, supplemented by a Webasto diesel boiler supplying skirting radiators along both sides of the cabin. Propulsion is via a Beta 43 diesel engine, with additional assistance from a hydraulic bow thruster for low-speed manoeuvring.
