Susan Mary is a 1989 RW Davies cruiser stern narrowboat offering all the basics that you may need to start life afloat. The interior is finished in solid pine tongue and groove boarding, now mellowed to a warm golden hue, complemented by dark hardwood framing and carpet to the hull sides. Central heating is provided by a Webasto diesel boiler to radiators, with hot water heated by the engine and boiler. Accommodation is for four, with a permanent double berth at the aft, while the forward L-shape dinette converts into a second double berth when required. The galley is equipped with a gas cooker and an under counter 12V fridge. The shower/wet room features a washbasin and pump-out toilet. While not packed to the gunwales with all the modern systems, Susan mary represents an affordable entry into narrowboat ownership. There is clear scope for future enhancements, including the potential addition of an inverter/charger to upgrade the electrical system as time and budget allows. A straightforward and honest boat with plenty of potential to make her your own.
