Based on a shell from Aintree, Hemma was built by her first owner, using an interesting combination of laminate and ply, to create a modern, REVERSE layout floating home. The saloon at the aft has a sofa bed, providing comfy seating during the day and a make-up double berth at night. The galley is equipped with gas cooking appliances, an under-counter fridge, ample Iroko block worktop space and plenty of cupboards. Mid-ships, you will find an intriguing dinette area reminiscent of yacht design, featuring a central table a cosy spot to relax that transforms into a double bed in the evening. The bedroom at the fore has a permanent single bed, with an additional make-up single available. Central heating is by MV Hydro compact diesel boiler complemented by a Lockgate Refleks diesel stove. 230V power when not connected to the shore, is provided by the Victron Multiplus 3kW inverter/charger with trickle charging of the batteries by the 100W solar panel. Propulsion is by Beta 43 diesel engine with only 354 hours of use. The forward well deck and aft cruiser deck both benefit from a newly fitted acrylic canopy.
