Grace is a traditional narrowboat, fitted out by Stephen Goldsbrough, a builder known for his emphasis on high quality joinery, and practical design. His work received multiple awards over the years, and this vessel is a fine example. The interior is finished in panelled ash and oak, all custom made, creating a well-crafted living space. Accommodation is arranged to suit a family, with four permanent berths and one make-up double berth, although the bunk bed cabin could be adapted to provide alternative living space for those intending to live aboard. Electrical systems are designed to support extended onboard living, with a 3.5kW engine-driven generator, a Victron 3kW inverter/charger, and a substantial 750Ah battery bank, supported by four solar panels. Heating is provided by a diesel boiler supplying designer radiators, with a solid fuel stove as an additional heat source. The galley features marble worktops, while the bathroom offers luxury in the form of a corner bath. Propulsion is provided by a Beta 43hp diesel engine, installed in the aft cabin, with acoustic foam insulation to cut down on engine noise, and manoeuvrability is aided by an 85kgf bow thruster.
