Oomaroo is a 60ft 2in cruiser stern narrowboat with a comprehensive programme of structural works in recent years. The original mid-section of the shell dates from 1976 (with the hull sides overplated), with a replacement stern section added in 2014 and a new bow with a 10ft extension completed in 2021, both by Andicraft. A hull survey carried out in February 2026 identified further works, which have since been completed by Andicraft and signed off by the surveyor in April 2026. The hull and bottom were subsequently blacked. Internally, the current owner, a professional carpenter, has undertaken a superb high quality refit, presenting the boat in 'as new' condition. The accommodation follows a traditional layout with the saloon forward, followed by galley, bedroom, walk-through shower room, and an aft cabin with seating. The galley is well equiped with quartz worktops, gas cooking, fridge, freezer, washing machine and a breakfast bar. Heating is by Webasto boiler alongside a solid fuel stove. 230V power is via a 3kW inverter/140A charger, with solar trickle charging batteries. Propulsion is by a Canaline 42hp diesel engine, installed in 2021.
