THE STOKER

Distinctively a Stoke-on-Trent boat, including elegant lines and additional features to give a traditional style and pleasing handling characteristics. The fine josher style bow is enhanced by a good number of rubbing guards, with the elliptical Stoke boats counter for easier manoeuvring from the bank side. The aft name panels are recessed and the whole boat is adorned with no less than 960 replica rivets. The interior was designed by the first owner, an architect by trade, (with the original plans available) and features a shortened Boatman s cabin with a range, table cupboard and crumb drawer. Forward of this is the engine room housing a magnificent Gardner 2L2, which was re-built and marinised by Gardner specialist, Danny Williamson, with a photographic record of this work being carried out. The forward section of the cabin is spacious with lots of storage, making The Stoker ideal for extended cruising (as proven by the present owners) with credentials such as a separate freezer to compliment the fridge and a full size washing machine which currently requires plumbing in. A large solar panel with MPPT controller will maintain the batteries when a landline is not available.
