MOIRA MAY

For many looking for a liveaboard boat Moira May certainly has the features to offer. The opening portholes are aided by a skylight in the saloon and windows in the dinette and galley, the latter of which benefits from a set of side doors with a removable inner panel. The forward bulkhead has steel-skinned outer doors (for extra security) and a pair of glazed inner doors, again helping to make a bright and cheerful interior. A 3.5kW engine driven generator provides the power to run the on board washing machine and any other appliances you may wish to have with you. The rugged Barrus engine, is assisted by a Vetus bow thruster, for those tricky situations. With sleeping arrangements for up to six, there is plenty of available storage. The diesel central heating is backed-up by a solid fuel stove which will keep the cabin warm and dry all year round. To add to the already spacious cabin, the well deck has a fitted cratch cover, with the cratch board being winged to give easy access to the gas locker and forward T-stud when mooring up or casting off. The semi-trad deck is also protected by a removable pram-type cover, perfect for when the weather is not at its best.
